I went to this event and it was fantastic. I came all the way from Honolulu, Hawaii to experience Sake-do in LA. I got to meet Karise and s many other nice sake lovers. Great food, great people and of course great sake.

Please check out my Sake101 podcast on iTunes (http://bit.ly/sake101) or my blog at http://www.mrdocrock.com.

Thanks for making my Hawaii crew and myself feel welcomed when we talked in LA Karise.

Much Aloha to you.

Hi!
I am a home-brewer in S.Cal and I stumbled onto your site... Wondering if you have ever brewed sake or would like to taste some Junmai, SoCal Style. Mostly I make a "Yamahai Moto".
    My best,
       Jp

Glad to have come across your well-done site. While I realize that to some in L.A. county, Redondo Beach is in the country, you might want to check out Japonica on PCH, one of the best (and less crowded) Japanese places in L.A. (in the two years I lived there): http://www.japonicadining.com/

Aloha,

Randy Slaton
Honolulu (warm but lots of vog)

Thanks Andrew! We definitely want to be able to share reviews and such. I have quite a bit of social networking planned for the app. Not sure yet how much of that will make it into v1.0 though.

Now this is a GREAT iPhone app! I don't know anything about iPhone app development, but here's a feature request: If users can upload their reviews to a central database, so everyone can download them to their iPhone.

Can't wait for the release!
